Specifically designed for flammable fluid duties or hazardous area locations, Spirax Sarco's M10F ball valves minimise the risks of valve leakage during and after a fire.
The valve provides total closure in the event of a fire. It achieves this because, in the event of a fire, the valve's seal and seat - against which the ball rests when closed under normal working conditions - will be destroyed but the ball will rest firmly against the metal seat in the valve's cap, producing a metal-to-metal closing.
Comprising a forged carbon steel body and stainless steel ball and stem, the certified M10F is suitable for temperatures of up to 200 degrees C and pressures up to 62barg.
