Monitor meets food hygiene regs
15 Jan 2000
Food hygiene regulations require continual monitoring and logging of frozen foodstuffs at all stages, including storage and processing. Pico's low cost Enviro-Mon temperature logger and alarm system carries out this routine task of monitoring and recording temperature and alarms when there is a problem.
The unit is simple to install, easily expanded and is capable of storing temperature and humidity readings from up to 30 locations. It can print daily summary reports or send data to a PC for long-term storage and graphical analysis.
Features of the unit include single cable network between the logger and up to ten 3-channel converters over 400m distance, temperature ranges of -55 degrees to 100 degreesC, typical accuracy of +/-0.2degC, local or remote alarm with optional telephone dialler, and IP65 enclosure for harsh environments.
