Multivariable transmitters get smarter and smarter

New models in Honeywell's SMV 3000 range of smart multivariable transmitters now enable flow measurement at high gauge pressures and more accurate flow measurement in low differential pressure applications.
A new pressure sensor using piezoresistive technology extends the static pressure measurement range to 210bar, while a lower and more accurate differential pressure range gives better accuracy for primary elements such as averaging pitot tubes.
Other primary elements that can be accommodated include laminar flow, orifice plates and venturi tubes and nozzles.
