DuPont is planning a $40million development and manufacturing plant for Teflon fluoro-polymer resins in Fayetteville, North Carolina, to demonstrate and develop new production processes. The demonstration plant is set to start up early next year. The company then plans to invest $275million over the next seven years to implement the new production techniques in a world scale plant, whose location has yet to be determined.
