The GL-U valve interlock from Smith Flow Control has a novel mounting mechanism that allows it to be fitted to virtually any type of handwheel-operated valve without modification.
Designed with operations and maintenance staff in mind, the GL-U is simple to use and imposes a strict opening/closing sequence on safety-critical valve operations. A high degree of security is provided by an anti-tamper and anti-override device fitted to the internal locking mechanism.
The interlock is manufactured from 316 stainless steel suitable for all hostile conditions.
