Two of the leading players in the fields of natural gas process plant and pipeline simulation and optimisation have announced a strategic alliance. LICenergy and MDC Technology have collaborated on several co-operative ventures, such as Shell's North Sea POSM and NSPS projects.
MDC's strengths lie in real-time optimisation, advanced process control and information systems for the process industries. LICenergy supplies knowledge-based solutions for the management of pipeline systems using simulation models developed by the company.
