Close-coupled pump useful in tight spaces

Ingersoll-Dresser Pumps has developed a close-coupled version of the CPX chemical process pump, suitable for industrial processes where space is at a premium.
The new CPXM range offers 33 models with capacities up to 500m3/hr and heads up to 150m.
There are only two seal sizes across the 33 models and, in combination with parts shared in the CPX range such as casings, impellers and seal housings, inventory costs can be reduced, says Ingersoll-Dresser.
CPXM pumps are of the back pull-out type allowing maintenance without having to remove the pump. Adjustment of impeller clearance and the close coupled design requiring no coupling allignment, reduces downtime.
CPXM pumps are fitted with standard electric motors so the user can choose an enclosure to suit the application. The CPXM can be mounted on a baseplate whichalso makes installation easier. A large number of material options ensures compatibilty with a wide range of liquids.
