Wolfson Centre's research award

The Wolfson Centre for Bulk Solids Handling Technology, at the University of Greenwich, has been awarded a £49 000 grant by the Leverhulme Trust. It will enable Senior Research Fellow Tony Burnett to continue his work into wear in bulk solids handling plant.
Mike Bradley, manager of the Centre, said, `This is a breakthrough for us. The Leverhulme awards are some of the most prestigious grants available, and it is thanks to Tony's considerable efforts and skill that we have been successful in our application.'
The money will cover Burnett's work for the next two years.
