For applications ranging from plastics manufacturing to food processing that require non-contact temperature measurement in the 0-500 degreesC range, Hycontrol can supply the Thermalert MI series of miniature, low-cost, infrared sensors.
Each MI sensing head is only 14mm in diameter and 28mm long, including the mounting thread. A choice of 2:1, 4:1 or 10:1 optics enables temperature measurement over a very small area.
According to Hycontrol, this system of stainless steel sensing heads, linked to separate electronics and a wide range of adaptors, mounting brackets and mirrors, provides almost limitless solutions to temperature sensing problems.
The MI range operates accurately in harsh environments with ambient temperatures up to 85 degreesC, although this can be extended to 205 degreesC with air cooling jackets.
