Honeywell has received a $1.9m contract from Shell UKExploration and Production to supply it with a TotalPlant Solutions (TPS) system for its Sole Pit Clipper gas production platform in the southern North Sea. The Honeywell TPS system will include five High Performance Process Managers for process control and six Global User Stations.

South America in a slurry

Richard Mozley has announced a £100 000 contract to supply pressure vessel hydrocyclone assemblies to Messo-Chemietechnik. Part of a turnkey project based in Chile, they will be used to recover crystals from chemical process slurries.

Pumping complete at Cottenham

Flygt Pumps has successfully completed a £170 000 contract to commission a new pumping station at Cottenham for Anglian Water, and decommission the existing one. The work included installing C-range sewerage pumps and associated M&E, chemical dosing equipment and a permanent standby generator within the station.

£2m DCS order from Tagor

Fisher-Rosemount has won a contract in excess of £2m from polypropylene producer, Targor, to install a replacement control system. This will comprise a site-wide PROVOX Distributed Control System and an integrated Management Information System.

Costa recycling

Longworth System Technology has supplied a polymer filter recycling plant to Spain's largest producer of polyester fibre, Catalana de Polimers.

Process pump wins approval

Bran+Luebbe has lodged orders worth more than £3.5m worldwide for its Novaplex modular process pump since it was introduced 18 months ago. The company says this proves its value as an efficient, cost-effective alternative to fixed stroke positive displacement reciprocating, high speed and multi-stage centrifugal pumps in processes involving hazardous materials.

Rotork reaches into Hungary

Rotork has received orders for nearly 300 of its latest IQ range intelligent electric valve actuators for the modernisation of the Szazhalombatta oil refinery, Hungary. These explosion-proof actuators are certified to CENELEC standards.
