Gathering of the Larox clans
15 Jan 2000
Achema has long been recognised as the international meeting place for chemical and process engineers, so it's no surprise that Larox is gathering its personnel from all over the world to man its stands G12/13 in Hall 5 and G6 in Hall 10.2.
Larox experts are coming from as far afield as South Africa and the US to talk to visitors about the company's 20 years of experience in the automatic pressure filtration and valve industries. In Hall 5 are the Larox pressure filters, which the experts will tell you can dewater in a half to a third of the time taken by conventional presses, yet cut costs by 50 to 70 per cent per tonne. From silicate and titanium, through aluminium hydroxide to spent weak acid sludge, Larox filters turn slurries into solid cakes ranging from 40 to 90 per cent dryness. The company's valve ranges are in Hall 10.2.
