Event monitoring for humidity

Extending the capability of Protimeter's System 996 precision humidity measurement system, Dewlog-996 is an event monitoring software package. Running under Windows on a PC, it captures and saves data from System 996 cycling chilled mirror humidity probes for later display and trending on easy-to-understand dedicated system mimics.
Setpoints can be configured by the operator to give warning of any out-of-limit readings of key moisture parameters, while an archive feature allows previously logged data to be graphed. An OLE server feature links the Dewlog-996 to other Windows applications such as word processing and spreadsheets.
Dewlog-996 has two modes of operation. In the first, up to 31 probes can be connected on the system's RS485 bus, which in turn is connected to the PC via an RS485/232 adaptor.
Alternatively, Dewlog-996 can be used to interface with the System 996 control unit, which provides a local display capability and supports up to eight probes.
