Sandvik supplies tubing

Swedish steel maker AB Sandvik Steel is supplying steam generator tubing for nuclear power plants in the United States and Belgium. The contract has a combined value of over £9.5million.
The larger of the two orders, for 26000 tubes totalling 520,000 metres, is destined for Palo Verde power station in Arizona.
The second order is for 16,000 nickel base alloy, nuclear quality tubes for use in steam generators, being built as part of a scheduled replacement programme at the Tihange 2 plant in Belgium.
