UK manufacturers could benefit from an information service, called Contractor-Net.
Typically, recruitment agencies increase the cost of a contractor's hourly rate by 20 per cent, claims provider Internet Technical Databases. The site holds the CVs of more than 11 000 contractors on the Internet and on CD-ROM.
