Mozley advances in hydrocyclones
15 Jan 2000
Cornwall-based manufacturer Richard Mozley (328) is launching a new range of product based around its Total Separation Technology on stand 2740.
The latest small cyclones include a range of 12mm high- capacity units capable of recovering ultra-fine particles down to two microns. Grouped into compact assemblies for installation, a range of units can accommodate up to 400m3/hr.
A range of modular design hydrocyclones with no moving parts, designed to meet stringent vessel codes (including ASME and DIN standards) for difficult environments within the chemical and oil industry, is also making its debut.
According to Mozley, operational benefits of using its hydrocyclones include reduced load on filtration equipment, reduced capital cost, minimal power requirements, continuous operation with large or small throughputs and low maintenance. The units also feature a tangential feed inlet with an unique ramp design which is said to deliver a significantly higher capacity than competitive products.
