Plastic pumps stand up to aggressive behaviour

Totton Pump's redesigned range of NEMP and NDP plastic centrifugal pumps for sterile liquids, aggressive chemicals, acids and alkalis are on display at stand N40.
Available in PP, PVDF and PPS with internal impellers and a choice of motors, these Totton pumps offer up to 500 litres/min flow up to 20 metres head, with the larger models available in explosion and fire proof versions.
Totten is particularly proud of its AF piston pump with only one moving part and no valves to clog or wear. The design uses a single, chemically inert, ceramic piston in a ceramic or carbon cylinder.
Another favourite is the Abso-flo Air operated double diaphragm pump, available in solid polyethylene, aluminium, solid PTFE or hygienic 316 stainless steel, offering flow rates of 2 to 400litres/min.
