Lang speaks up for engineers

The Engineering Council has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ian Lang, President of the Board of Trade as PE went to press, confirming its standing as the official voice for British engineers both at home and abroad. The profession `does not universally command the respect and recognition it deserves,' said Lang.
