Denmark's first fully-integrated North Sea oil and gas platform is to be controlled by ABB Industrial Systems' open control system, Advant OCS. Working to a fast-track contract, the company is supplying controllers, operator and engineering stations to service 3500 hard-wired I/O points; emergency shutdown and fire and gas functions; control, choke and relief valves; analysers and general instrumentation; galvanic isolators and pressure transmitters. The platform is slated to start production in July
