The M640/Gilflo ILVA metering system from Spirax Sarco can give accurate, density-compensated flow information on steam systems.
By combining the pressure measurement capabilities of the M640 steam mass flow transmitter with the Gilflo ILVA, Spirax offers a system that can transmit data to centralised process control or energy management systems.
Data on flow rate, pressure, temperature and total flow can be accessed using the Hart protocol, while total flow or flow rate can be viewed using the 4-20mA signal.
The M640, which is also available in an intrinsically safe version, is supplied pre-configured to end-users' applications, thus reducing the cost and time needed for commissioning.
