New plant starts up

A 5000t/a isophoronediamine plant has come on-stream at BASF's Ludwigshafen site, tripling the company's capacity for this product. the plant replaces a multipurpose facility which, the company says, was needed for other duties. Isophoronediamine is used to cure epoxy resins.
