Factory expansion boosts Severn Glocon
15 Jan 2000
As the first birthday of the merger of Severn Glocon approaches, the company continues to build on its combined 40 years in the design and manufacture of process control valves and actuators (see stand C34).
The Gloucester site has been increased in size to produce some 4000 valves per year. The products have been integrated, resulting in a more comprehensive range. Severn Glocon can also design and manufacture to customer specifications.
The company is continuing to develop aftercare services. Its three workshops have been extended, and provide site/valve service requirements with on site and off site overhauls.
* Severn Glocon has recently completed an order to the Middle East, including a 16in Globe valve with a new anti-cavitation trim
