Two major players in brewing technology are joining forces.
Alfa Laval has acquired Danish company Scandi Brew A/S. The new entity - Alfa Laval Scandi Brew - will continue to operate from Soeborg, Copenhagen (Scandi Brew's old HQ) and will become centre for all Alfa Laval's yeast technology.
As a member of Micro Matic Group, Scandi Brew was known for tank systems and yeast handling and was regarded as a leader in yeast systems.
Scandi Brew company will now have access to Alfa Laval's global network of sales, service and spares.
Alfa Laval is now positioned to deliver yeast technology as part of a complete supply system.
