Prominence in water analysing systems
15 Jan 2000
Celebrating 21 years of supplying equipment to the water industry, ProMinent Fluid Controls (UK) is on stand 303, where it is launching a double junction pH sensor and reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
The pH probe is suitable for use in cooling water, waste scrubbers and other industrial processes. Employing two ceramic diaphragms provides greater stability than conventional pH electrodes, the company claims.
The electrodes operate at pressures up to 8bar, while the use of Ag/AgCl electrodes means that the probe functions at temperatures up to 80oC.
The sensor complements ProMinent's range which includes sensors for redox, ozone, peroxide, inorganic chlorine and chlorine dioxide.
The novel RO systems feature low pressure modules integrated into the system, said to suit applications requiring large volumes of pure water.
