Edgar takes on marketing role
Tom Edgar has been promoted to marketing director at Chemoxy International, after serving a two-year stint as business development manager. He will be responsible for the commercial aspects of Chemoxy's toll manufacturing activities, including a new 10000tpa reaction/fractionation unit being built in Billingham. Mark Saurin is to take over as business development manager; he is joining the company from Exxon Performance Fluids.
ICI rewards Schlauch's experience
ICI has appointed Walter Schlauch as chief operating officer of its subsidiary National Starch, formerly part of Unilever speciality chemicals. Schlauch has been with National Starch since 1963.
