Variable drives boost mag pumps' flow capabilities

Michael Smith Engineer's Micropump range of magnetically driven gear pumps is now available with variable speed motors with built-in inverters. This expands their capabilities to flows between 5ml/min up to 20 l/min at maximum differential pressures between 4 and 10 bar, depending on the model.
The new drives can be coupled with all the existing stainless steel pump heads currently available from Micropump. The motor speeds can be adjusted between 25% and 100%, either manually or automatically via a 0-10Vdc or 4-20mA control signal.
