Self-cleaning filters help minimise waste
15 Jan 2000
Ronningen-Petter's DCF self-cleaning filter, available in the UK through George Meller, boasts a permanent filtration element that has been specially designed to prevent blinding, even with extremely fine particles. Suspended solids are collected on the inside surface of the screen, from where they are removed by an air-actuated or motor-driven circular disc moving up and down the screen. A profiled trailing edge wipes the screen surface clean after solids removal.
