Suitable for flows from 95 to 1040 litres/min, the HSP separators rely on centrifugal effects for solids separation, but have no moving parts, filter bags, cartridges or strainers to replace or clean.
The separators work in a similar way to a hydro-cyclone, with fluid entering the top of the pressure vessel tangentially at high velocity. Solids down to 50 micron are entrained in the fluid and forced to the walls of the vessels, from where they spiral down to a sump while clean fluid exits the vessel upwards.
Used either as primary filters for general clean-up duties or as prefilters for fine filtration systems, the HSP comes in housings from 1in to 3in BSP ports.
