BASF to boost chloro plants

BASF is to increase its capacity for chloroformates, acid chlorides and alkyl chlorides at its Ludwigshafen nerve-centre. It plans to add 8000tpa to its current 40,000tpa plants, scheduled to come on-stream next year.
