Nuclear alliance for R-R and S-C

Rolls-Royce Nuclear Engineering Services and Simon Carves are to form an alliance to provide a specialised project capability to the nuclear industry.
Dr Mike Gray, md of R-R Nuclear Services, said: `The key skills of the two companies are an excellent fit and will enable the alliance to focus on providing the technologies now required in the UK nuclear industry.' This view was echoed by Keith Bowden, chairman of Simon Carves: `The alliance strengthens our ability to provide innovative engineering solutions and chemical engineering support in the areas of fuel cycle, reprocessing, decommissioning and waste management.'
