Committee set to study PSREs

Medeva chairman John Baker is to head a committee investigating the commercialisation of public sector research establishments (PSREs), according to science minister Lord Sainsbury. The committee will be operating `with a view to making recommendations for increasing the rate of their [the PSREs] exploitation,' and will be looking at ways to increase their cooperation with the private sector, he said. The committee will report later this year.
