Livesey spins for centrifuge specialists
15 Jan 2000
Centrifuge manufacturer Broadbent is appointing Ian Livesey to bring to fruition its long term research and development programme. After two years directing Krauss Maffei's UK sales, he is returning to Broadbent where he started his career, at what he describes as an exciting time for the company.
The company recently launched the world's smallest flue gas desulphurisation centrifuge and pioneered the use of ceramic tiles to reduce down time in the coal industry. This technology has now been transferred to the sugar industry.
Livesey said: `Broadbent engineering dates back to 1864 and is well known and respected. However, we need to communicate the sharper, smarter performance of the present day Broadbent.'
