15 Jan 2000
According to the National Engineering Laboratory, the latest release (v4.0) of its Heatnet for Windows process integration software can help operators reduce energy costs and meet environmental regulations relating to stack emissions and water use.
To suit the requirements of different users in the process industries, Heatnet is available at different levels of functionality. It starts with pinch analysis but can extend to system modelling and optimisation.
Version 4.0 includes new combustion, fouling and cleaning modules.
