APV boosts sales side

Following its acquisition last year by the perpetually acquisitive Siebe Group (see page 5), APV is strengthening its UK operations for the sale and service of its core process products.
A new team based at the main site in Crawley, West Sussex, will promote heat exchangers, homogenisers and fluid handling equipment, providing customers with a single point of contact.
Production of APV's Cleanline positive displacement pumps is being transferred from Eastbourne to Horsens in Denmark.
The manufacture of process equipment for the 'dry' foods sector will continue to be handled by APV Baker in Peterborough.
