Hydro Electric refurbishment

Weir Group with ABB has won orders worth £8 million for the complete electrical and mechanical refurbishment of three 25MW Francis turbine generators at Errochty and a 0.5MW Turgo turbine generator at Trinafour. The project is part of Scottish Hydro Electric's refurbishment of all its major hydro plants.
