New range alters the Status quo

Status Instruments has a number of new additions to its temperature measurement range.
The company has expanded the SmartReader Plus range of compact high resolution loggers by adding the SRP-2, a four channel temperature and relative humidity logger; a dual loop PID/Fuzzy output controller, especially suited to processes requiring a fast and accurate response to changing conditions; a SEM215 Din rail mounting temperature transmitter, which accepts the output from any commonly used temperature sensor and converts it into a 4-20mA process signal; the SCH4, a versatile multi-entry probe-connecting head with a wider range of entry sizes; a 4-20mA loop powered digital display, the DM500, capable of visually indicating the value of any process variable directly in engineering units. The DM500 uses no glass or mercury, making it ideal, claims the company, for use as a loop powered thermometer, displaying process temperatures in food or pharmaceutical production lines. There is also an intrinsically safe version, the DM500X, for hazardous applications.
Finally, the DM3400 is a series of highly accurate and stable temperature and process indicators.
