Honeywell sells off simulation

Honeywell has sold its SIM-Series simulation business and rights to the Profimatics trade name to KBC Advanced Technologies. Honeywell previously managed the kinetic reactor simulaton models business within its Hi-Spec Solutions Advanced Applications unit.
Under the agreement, Honeywell will continue to use KBC models in its operator training, advanced process control and on-line optimisation businesses for its refining industry customers.
