A variety of valves including Strahman sampling valves and Groth tank vents can be seen on stand N31, temporary home of AJG Waters.
The piston-type sampling valves allow the safe taking of samples without failure and are specially designed to eliminate clogging. The valves are available in hand- or air-operated versions, and are supplied with a male NPT inlet and female NPT outlet discharge. All wetted parts are made from type 316 stainless steel but are also available in 304, 303L, 316L stainless steel, Nickel, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy B & C, alloy 20 stainless steel and titanium.
Groth products on view include tank vents, blanket gas regulators, pressure/vacuum relief valves and flame arresters. Highlights include the Series 3000 Blanket Gas Regulator, designed to ensure a constant gas pressure in the vapour space of storage tanks. In addition to preventing outside air and moisture entering the storage vessel, low blanket gas pressure reduces the evaporation of the product.
