BASF has appointed Max Dietrich Kley deputy chairman of the board of executive directors, replacing Hanns-Helge Stechl, who is to retire at the end of the company's annual meeting. Kley is currently in charge fo the company's financial affairs, and holds a raft of responsibilities for sectoral and regional businesses.
