`The basis of energy management is measurement,' says Grant Instruments. To help companies achieve their goals, Grant has launched a new data logger instrument to help capture and analyse vital information.
The Squirrel 1600 data logger, with its 24 input channels, is suitable for applications including process management and buildings services. It can generate control and alarm signals via eight relay and FET outputs, which means it can control valves, switches and actuators.
The Squirrel can be used to determine electricity usage within a firm or facility, says Grant.
