Keeping sticky stuff on the move
15 Jan 2000
Type BPK containers from Tycon can now be supplied with a `discharge station' for handling sticky or difficult powders.
Available in standard and UN approved versions for dangerous materials, the BPK system consists of a discharge station and an interchangeable container. At the heart of the discharge station is a pulsing cone device that keeps material moving, preventing product bridging and outlet blocking. The container and discharge station are connected by four pneumatic cylinders to ensure dust-free sealing.
The containers are manufactured in galvanised or painted mild steel, with stainless steel options also available. Capacities range from 600 to 3000 litres.
