Tomlinson chairs British Water's industry group

The Capital Controls Group's sales and marketing director, Frank Tomlinson, has been elected chairman of the Industrial Market Group of British Water.
British Water represents the interests of the UK water and wastewater industry at home and overseas. The Industrial Market Group aims, among other things, to strengthen the liaison between the process and equipment supply sector and industry and commerce.
`This is a two-way process with universal benefits,' said Tomlinson. `It not only helps to improve market opportunities but makes it easier to identify technical and commercial issues, and to develop solutions.'
Tomlinson advocates a `total approach' where industries can achieve major savings, improve efficiency and help the environment by examining the way they source, use and treat water and waste water.
British Water is an association of nearly 200 of the leading organisations in water and waste water, and a key component of Britain's environmental management capability. British Water also has disinfection, municipal, and quality groups.
