Tough pump handles low flows, high pressures

Michael Smith Engineering has introduced a range of single-stage side channel pumps, designed to transfer small volumes of liquids against a high discharge pressure. The PMK pumps are designed for flow rates of 3m3/hr at differential heads up to 60m.
The PMK pump is magnetically coupled, which eliminates the risk of leakage from seal failure. Moreover, its wetted sections are made from very inert materials - PFA, PTFE and high-purity silicon carbide. These factors make the pump ideal for handling very aggressive chemicals, claims Michael Smith.
