DIN-rail mount for transmitter

Rosemount has introduced a DIN-rail version of its Hart-based temperature transmitter, the Model 644E. The new version, Model 644ER, offers the same performance as the head-mount version, including 0.03 per cent accuracy and a stability rating of 0.1 per cent of reading.
Configurable electronics allow the unit to work with all common temperature sensor inputs, including RTDs, thermocouples, ohm and millivolt signals. Cold junction compensation is provided for thermocouples and the output signal is linear for both RTDs and thermocouples.
The device can be field-configured using a hand-held Hart Communicator, or on-line by a Hart-compliant control system.
