Designed to handle the widest possible range of media, ITT Flygt Industrial's submersible pumps range are suitable for almost any industry sector. `Because industrial discharges are rarely the same, the Industrial 3000 series has been designed to meet a broad scope of pH, temperature and solids handling requirements with all the components and parts available off the shelf to reduce delivery times,' comments Flygt product manager Mike Stevenson.
The pumps are fitted with corrosion-resistant seals, Viton O-rings, tough wear rings and fasteners fashioned from molybdenum-alloyed stainless steel. The pump bodies are epoxy-coated to strengthen them against chemical attack and mechanical impacts. The rotor shaft is equally strong, made form stainless steel. The units are rated to produce heads up to 75m and flows up to 2500litre/sec.
