And not a cow in sight. Now in full production, the Manchester plant of Robert Wiseman Dairies is one of the few liquid milk dairies to have been purpose-built in the UK in the last ten years. Major contractor for the 11-acre, state of the art dairy was Tetra Pak, whose Tetra Therm EC modules form the main processing part of the plant (pictured left). The control of the integrated plant is taken care of by a SattLine process control system (right) from Alfa Laval Automation, another Tetra Pak company.
