Kuhni to sell cryo process

Swiss process equipment supplier Kuhni has agreed to sell a solvent recovery and VOC abatement process, developed by Messer Griesheim, in the UK and Eire. The process will be sold through Kuhni's UK representative, Fosplant.
The technology, which uses liquid nitrogen as a coolant, condenses solvents from continuous gas streams even in the presence of water (see diagram). Sold under the name Crysumat, the system can reduce emissions to well below regulated limits, the companies claim.
