Intended for coal and other bulk materials with large particle sizes, the HD-PRT product sampler from Dowson Handling can be mounted on a chute, hopper or conveyor belt.
When actuated, a slotted tube enters the product flow area and rotates through the material to take a representative sample. The tube then retracts and discharges the sample through a bottom outlet.
Made from heavy gauge carbon and stainless steels, the unit is made with tubes up to 1370mm in length. An adjustable timer allows samples to be taken automatically at desired intervals.
