The Weir group has been busy, particularly Entropie-Serit, which has installed and commissioned a complete milk and whey processing plant in Turkey for £1.3 million and secured another contract worth £1.5 million to supply absorption heat pumps to a geothermal site at Klaipeda, Lithuania. In more traditional waters of the North Sea, Weir group has won orders worth £3.3 million from Kvaerner to supply pumping equipment for the Texaco Captain expansion project.
