Visitor campaign hots up
15 Jan 2000
The visitor campaign started in September, nine months before the show. As things hot up for the May show, exhibitors are being offered numerous opportunities to make the most of their participation.
Comments Iain McLean, group sales manager: `Exhibitors get more than just three days at the UK's premier process automation and control forum - they become part of a massive media campaign, the likes of which has never been conducted for an industrial exhibition before.
`This month sees the launch of our ticketing campaign with over a million tickets being distributed though direct mail and journal outserts and inserts. We have trebled the investment in our advertising campaign with over 100 advertisements potentially being seen by a million readers.
`As companies sign up, they immediately become part of this huge publicity programme including editorial and PR support, access to show visitor data and free website links.'
