Parker purifies filter range
15 Jan 2000
The Process Filter Division of Parker Hannifin can now provide new ranges of polyethersulphone cartridges and capsules which yield maximum filtration results.
Ultrapure and Megapure membrane filter cartridges can handle high flow rates, yet produce low pressure drops. This gives extended life and reduces overall element cost.
Ultrapure cartridges are suitable for a wide range of uses within the food and beverage, information storage and fine chemical industries, including wine/beer, cosmetics and process water. The Megapure range is suited to industries needing even higher degrees of purity.
Polyethersulphone filter capsules are ideal for small volume filtration. They are supplied as a self contained capsule combining polyethersulphone membrane medium, housings and fittings in one unit, offering ease of replacement and disposal.
The range of sizes and styles include lengths of 6.2cm, 16.8cm and 26.7cm, inlet/outlet from 14in to 112in in hose barb, thread and triclover fittings. All are capable of operating up to a maximum temperature of 50 C. Media are also available in 0.1, 0.2, 0.45 and 0.65 microns.
